digital proof

Digital proofs allow you to check a piece of artwork on screen. This allows you to check for image resolution issues, whether the correct fonts are being used, layout problems, and whether there are any mistakes with the content of what’s being printed.

They don’t allow you to check for print-related issues, such as exact colour matching, issues with colours bleeding, etc. For that, you need a print proof and ideally a wet proof.
