countering the confusion of consumer packaged goods

FMCG

Fast-moving consumer goods are products that have a short shelf-life and are sold in large volumes, generally by supermarkets (aka “multiple retailers”). These include things like food, toiletries, and household consumables.

FMCG can be contrasted with slow-moving consumer goods – things like fridges and televisions – although these aren’t typically referred to as “slow-moving”.
