user journey

A user journey is a mapping of the pages a user will visit in order to achieve their goal.

It tells you two things: how many steps a user will have to perform in order to achieve a particular goal (and therefore a broad idea of whether it’s easy or not); and, when all journeys are put together, an idea of what pages the site will eventually have.
